Who we are

Bohdana began 6 years ago with the idea of creating a company that not only was dedicated to creating quality longboards but to create a socially responsible business. Too many companies out there are about riding the "longboard wave" to make big profits. Bohdana believes in working with our local community and supporting the local economy. This does means less profit is made, because working on a local level is expensive. But creating jobs within our community and giving business to the struggling entrepreneurs in the local area is what business is about for bohdana. So take a look at your own community and see where you can help whats around you.

The Reason

Bohdana Boards does not only make longboards. A big part of our energy goes toward promoting our local longboard community. We do this by hosting ottawas "sunday longboard sessions" A weekly longboard session to bring the community together. Without community longboarding is completely limited. We have no skatepark, no home base to  share the stoke. Most often, longboarders end up cruising alone. Once you experienced a group ride, longboarding alone will never measure up. This is why we organize weekly sessions and races.
